He licked his lips. ‘Well, if you want my opinion-‘
‘I don’t,‘ she said. ‘I have my own.'
― Toni Morrison

This book was very good. The plot and characterisation were compelling, the pace was just right, and I wanted to know how it would end. I will try something else by the author, and I’d recommend you give it a go; it is a book to enjoy.
