In All the Wicked Girls, Chris Whitaker continues his tour of small-town America. This time he visits Grace, a bleak, bigoted Alabama backwater. Young girls are disappearing in the bible belt town, and all the police have to go on are the outbursts of the local preacher.

Whitaker takes a complex ensemble of characters, sprays two-thirds of them with intolerance and prejudice, and then lets the drama unfold.
